MAP Textiles Ltd is a Charity Retail Recycling collection company based in Worcestershire.

Our ethos is to work alongside all different types of charities no matter how big or small and to maintain a very high standard of service.
We have spent many years within the Charity Retail Recycling sector and with over 20 years of collective experience within our management team working within the charity sector, we believe to be one of the best in customer service and maintaining a friendly, professional, and reliable service to all charity organizations be it a single shop or a national chain.
We understand the difficulties many charities face on a day to day basis with donations and limited space available to be able to keep the well-needed donations coming through the door to help support the huge financial needs that are required for all charities to support their causes, we understand the importance of clearing your Recycling not only to generate income but also for health and safety issues arising from the lack of space at shop level.
MAP cares about the environment and the effects of the amount of waste that goes into landfill sites.
Did you know that the majority of textiles thrown out by households end up in landfills, with Defra estimating that over 1.5 million tonnes per year of unwanted clothing is eventually landfilled and with Over 70% of the world’s population using second-hand clothing, it makes sense to reuse and recycle these items, give them a second chance and reduce landfill waste.
We ship our Textiles to Africa to be reused by many people that live in third world poverty-stricken areas, these clothes are a lifeline to people not only to help clothe them but also to make a living by selling the clothes and to help make a difference to people who really need it.
By sending secondhand clothing to Africa not only are we reducing waste but we are helping change the lives of many people that deserve a better life, a better future.
Textiles can make up around 3% of the weight of a household bin.
At least 50% of these textiles that we throw away are reusable, however, the majority of textile waste reused or recycled annually in the UK is only around 25%. So we as a nation have a long way to go to raise this figure and reduce this waste.
We divert everything we pick up away from landfill sites and reuse/recycle everything we pick up.
Just doing our little bit to help towards a better, cleaner world.
